Egypt Voted Lonely Planet’s Best Value Destination of 2019

With tourism in Egypt at its best since the slowdown of the revolution, there is now more news that will potentially bring even more visitors to Egypt next year, with Egypt’s Southern Nile Valley getting top spot in Lonely Planet’s annual “Best Value Destinations” of 2019.
The Southern Nile Valley includes Luxor and Aswan, with their ancient sites accessible for a little as a few dollars. Other famous attractions include Karnak, Egypt’s largest temple complex and the Valley of the Kings.

The full list includes Egypt's Southern Valley, textile-manufacturing hub Łódź in Poland, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the United States, the tropical nation of Maldives, Houston, Argentina, Bangladesh, Albania, breathtaking Ecuador and Slovenia.

The Great Smoky Mountains are, well, great and all, but nothing compares to a boat ride on the good old Southern Nile Valley.
