Egypt's hosting the first FIFA championship at Cairo International Stadium and there's lots of moola up for grabs.
Turki Al Sheikh, the president of the Saudi Sports Federation, has announced the first ever Playstation FIFA championship in Egypt, reports Al Watan News. Sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and the Egyptian Union of Video Games, the competition will be taking place in Cairo International Stadium between the 13th and 15th of March.
The winner will be getting a whopping EGP 500,000 prize, while second and third place will be getting EGP 300,000 and EGP 150,000 respectively. Fourth place will be getting EGP 50,000, while the first 100 players will be going home with EGP 10,000.
Players will be picked at random from those registering for the competition.
