The Beach: A Hub of Family, Fun and Fitness in Sahel

The summer ain't over until it's over, and The Beach is squeezing every last drip of Sahel Season.

Staff Writer

With last few weeks of summer looming over our heads, there’s still so many beach adventures we haven't ticked off our summer 2018 bucket list. All those seaside activities we promised ourselves we'd try and the beach workout classes we contemplated trying may all still be in the cards for us. Egypt's Housing and Development Bank (HD Bank) is seemingly answering our prayers and giving us one last shot at doing summer right with their newest project, The Beach. And, this is only the beginning for HD Bank, who are planning to have more cool projects for us in the coming year in an effort to become more accessible.  The Beach is set up in one of the North Coast's up and coming spots, The New Alamein City, which is designed to accommodate more then 3,000,000 people and will soon be functioning not only during summer but all year round.Nestled halfway between Sidi Abdel Rahman and Al Alamein, HD bank's family beach has a little something for everyone. For those of us who believe the beach should only be about tanning and relaxing, we've got a set up to enable our inner beach potato with comfortable chaise-longues and colorful beanbags so that we never have to move. Meanwhile, the kids get an area all to themselves, with swings, slides, wall climbing and the whole shebang. If the little ones aren’t into wall climbing, The Beach is also hosting daily arts and craft brought in by Fagnoon for the creatives in the bunch.Don’t worry, they haven’t forgotten about our furry friends either - The Beach is pet friendly. That means while you go for a beachside water fight – organised by Adrenelin Egypt - little bondo2 gets to runs around and get his dose of fun in the sun too.

Too frivolous for you? Well,m look no further than FitSpark and Transforma Egypt, who will be providing sea-side workout sessions. Once you’ve done with your workout for the day, head down to their food court to grab some beach-side bites, guilt free. For the foodies, the court has a selection to choose from with kiosks and food trucks like The Butcher and The Juice Box. There are both daily and seasonal passes. Individual tickets are for EGP 150, family tickets are for EGP 300 and a seasonal family pass is for EGP 2500. #SeaYouAtTheBeach
