The Smokery: Bienvenue Á Gout De France

The culinary exploration of Cairo’s cuisine will have people explore France on Thursday, March 19 at the Smokery. Starting at 8 pm, Cairo turns into Paris with a special menu, themed entertainment and a whole lot of je ne sais quoi.

The Smokery in Katameya Heights is honoured to be among the few restaurants invited to participate in the Gout de France (Good France), an initiative organised by world-renowed French cuisine artist Alain Ducasse and France's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, designed to celebrate French gastronomy. To bring its own flair to the theme, The Smokery is getting help from Chef Vincent Guillou who is preparing a special menu for the evening.

Jazz Issola will be bringing the tunes as her angelic voice will perform French classics which will set the mood for the mouthwatering menu. Performing in the language of love, no other place will be more romantic on Thursday. However, Gout de France is inviting young and old, lovers or partners, who are looking to send their taste buds on a journey to France.
