Alexandria's Iconic Gemy's BBQ Touches Down in Cairo

Yup, you read that right. You need not go to Alex no more, at least not for Gemy, because he has decided to come himself.

Alexandria's Iconic Gemy's BBQ Touches Down in Cairo

Once upon a time (1976 to be exact) in Alexandria, there was a man that went by the name of Gamal El Refaei that opened an itsy bitsy kiosk near Cleopratra station to sell grilled sandwiches. Fast forward to rn and that small kiosk is now Gemy’s BBQ that we all know today. We’re not here to give you a lecture about the iconic shop, we’re here to tell you that it is now in Cairo.

Yup, you read that right. You need not go to Alex no more, at least not for Gemy, because he has decided to come himself. The restaurant is going to be bringing their classic sandwiches -- from kofta to kebda, fletto and the list goes on.

You can find Gemy hanging at Sheikh Zayed’s ZAP where you and your kersh can live your best life. If you’re too lazy to go (which we will not forgive), just call ‘em up on 1976 and they’ll bring Gemy to you.
