Egypt's Potato Exports Already Reach 90,000 Tons in 2021

Egypt’s rich soil and hardworking farmers said “YAASSS” because potato exports have just reached a booming 90,000 tons to European markets in 2021 alone.
This multifaceted crop ranks second in Egypt’s agricultural exports, providing top notch quality of what can be a medley of delish fried, mashed or whatever-you-want potatoes.
Ahmed Al-Attar, Head of the Central Administration for Plant Quarantine at the Ministry of Agriculture, added that there will be a boost in production this year, making sure that Egypt’s new potato farming season serves tens across the board.
