InterContinental Cairo Citystars is home to a little eatery dishing out a taste of the Lebanese capital. Fayruz, the aptly named restaurant is fittingly decorated with a blue shade of the same name and whose dishes are, well, truly jeweled.
Their dishes do staples absolute justice. Sujuk, sea bass, lamb shank— this is a place which specialises in true home cooking, not just your run-of-the-mill shawarma shop.
On Fridays, the restaurant hosts a Lebanese brunch from 1 to 5 pm featuring an unlimited set menu for EGP280 a person. On Saturdays, they follow that up with unlimited hot and cold mezzeh for EGP250++ per person. For reservations, call 02 24800009 to book.
