Lamar Launches Plant-Based Platform TOM for Lactose Intolerants
TOM comes through with three flavours: oat, almond and Barista oat milk (which is a first in this country).
In the world of plant milks, the base ingredient is everything. The variety is dizzying: almond milk, oat milk, even Barista oat. We call them milks, but they don’t act like cow’s milk. Some taste bitter when heated or separate when cooled. Until recently, none had mimicked actual dairy. That was exactly what local brand TOM wanted to do.
With the iconic Lamar as the mother brand, TOM kicked off on a mission to fulfill the needs of those who suffer from lactose intolerance or choose a plant based diet. All of their products are plant-based. Every single one of them. They also happen to be rich in vitamins and calcium (Vitamins D2, B12, B2 and E) to help raise the overall nutrition benefits to their customers.
