Spain Makes It to Alexandria in the Form of a Tapas Bar Called Jeeda's

*screams yalahwi in Spanish*

Egypt’s golden coastal city of Alexandria just got its first ever authentic Spanish restaurant. The brainchild of hospitality graduate Jeeda Elsakhawi, this new tapas bar has been ten years in the making.

After working in the field of hospitality, it pushed Elsakhawi to develop a love for Spanish gastronomy. This led her to go back to her hometown to open her very own Spanish restaurant. Our favourite bit? The phenomenal upscale decor.

From paella to seafood tapas, churros with dulce de leche, and trademark tiramisu, the restaurant and bar takes reservations on their website, www.jeedas.com, and has already been visited by a star-studded groups of guests including Hussein Fahmy.

The upscale venue is located right behind Cinema Amir near Raml station at 39 Horreya Avenue. You can call and book your reservation between 12 pm to 7 pm at +2 0103 093 2835.
