Whenever the weekend rolls around and we’re about ready to indulge in a stress-free weekend, we’re always faced with one major decision: food. Do we want sushi? Do we want steak? Or is it a juicy burger we're craving? Luckily with One Oak, Cairo's go to restaurant for perfected steaks and sushi, the decision has been made a stroll in the park as they’ve got it all; the bites and the vibes. And there's good news for 6th of October residents, they’ve just opened up another branch in Mall of Egypt.

With branches in New Cairo’s Point 90 and Sheikh Zayed’s Majarrah Hub, One Oak’s Mall of Egypt branch is their most recent and arguably, our favourite. Divided into two sections, one of which affords its diners a view of Ski Egypt, the ultimate indoors snow park, One Oak is renowned for its great service and of course, the fact that they serve sushi, steaks and burger, all under one roof.

The launch of the fine dining restaurant took place this month and saw some of the city's creme de la creme make their way for a taste of the finest sushi and juiciest steak. Coldplay cover band, Strawberry Swing and Egyptian musician Hassan Ramzy also gave quite the performance on the opening night. The restaurant even had activities like face paint and body glitter for all its guests.

Considered one of the larger branches, Mall of Egypt’s One Oak is suitable for family and friends gatherings but also a perfect resort if you simply want to woo your date.
