Neith Studios an ode to the flamboyance of 80s disco culture. The sequined garments are short, spunky and when placed in tandem, capture the unapologetic aura of the time period.
Style expert Amina Said has dipped her toes into the land of fashion merchandising in Boston and taken her findings to the Middle Eastern fashion scene to put forth her vision for a glamorous future. Neith Studios' latest collection, 'Midnight Reflections', is her ode to the flamboyance of 80s disco culture. The sequined garments are short, spunky and when placed in tandem, capture the unapologetic aura of the time period.
“I have always had a vision for unique attire and have regularly modified pieces I have purchased to my preferences,” Said tells SceneStyled. “After returning to the Middle East from the U.S, I noticed a gap in women’s fashion offerings and decided to start my own clothing line to bring my vision to life, and Neith Studios was born.”
The garment’s glamorous demeanour can not solely be attributed to the 80s-adjacent bling; the silhouettes channel the frequently admired flapper era with a sprinkle of old Hollywood luxury. “I admire and have been inspired by women like Coco Chanel, who in the 1920s broke the gender barrier for designers and allowed women to be more impactful in society,” Said says. “In the Middle East, this would have marked the Golden Era for women in the arts like Om Kalthoum and I would have loved to be designing outfits for these Middle Eastern Pioneers.”
