8 Awesome Things Happening Across Egypt This Weekend
Made plans this weekend? Whatever they are, they won't be better than these wicked things happening around the country.
The plans you've made with the duvets must go out the door! We had a feeling you'd be lazying around this weekend, so we thought we'd make your life easier - and your social life a whole lot more active - by going ahead and picking out the eight coolest places to pass by instead of, you know, having to talk to people and ask them and stuff. You can still remain the introverted creature that you are. Without further ado, here is this weekend's guide...
Red Bull Center Stage 2016 @ Darb 1718
Red Bull's Center Stage competition has reached its final form, where contestants will be picking a scene from any film, creatively incorporating Red Bull into it, then hopping on stage to perform it. You're looking at a mixture of Egyptian cinema meets stand-up comedy meets university improv club.

The Roof of Egypt @ Saint Catherine Mountain
Egypt's highest summit is surprisingly not your ego! Mount Saint Catherine will have you overlooking the entire country from atop of the highest peak in the country, but we bet you still won’t be able to spot your house, so you might not want to waste your time up there doing that. Awesome opportunity to get out there and do a little exploring of Egypt's gorgeous landscapes.

This is the place to be when you want to run into your school friends all grown up and partying like there’s no tomorrow. Guaranteed a good fun night out as long as you don’t get too tipsy, especially with Undercatt and Jimmy opening up the new hot season. Dress code is black chic, but we have a hunch you were already going for that.

Brunch Ft. Raw Acoustic @ The Tap East
There aren't many places across Cairo that serve a mean brunch with an awesome ambiance, but The Tap East definitely does the trick. We don't think we need anything to start off the weekend beyond chilly drinks and Raw Acoustics. Maybe more drinks. Some fries won't hurt, either.
Time: 1:00 PM- 7:00 PM
Arab Music Festival @ Cairo Opera House
Take a break from the khabt and clear your ears with a conference-cum–festival devoted to Arab music that's been running 25 years strong. It's happening at the Opera, so this one's a fancy, cultured night out. Get classy.
