American University in Cairo’s MBA Programme Ranked Top in in Africa
In Quacquarelli’s worldwide assessment of business degree programmes, AUC got ranked the top university in Africa in the Global MBA Rankings for 2022, alongside University of Capetown in South Africa.
According to QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a major ranking provider of analytics and other insights on the higher education sector worldwide, the AUC School of Business tied first place with the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town in South Africa among all universities in Africa for their Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes.
In Quacquarelli’s worldwide assessment of business degree programmes, the two schools ranked in the 111-120 category in their Global MBA Rankings for 2022. AUC’s masters in finance programme also ranked highly in the education network’s assessment of specialised master's degree programmes, securing a spot in the 121-130 category.
Each of the business masters rankings was compiled according to institutional programme performance in five key metrics: employability, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, return on investment, thought leadership, and class and faculty diversity.
Elsewhere, Alexandria’s Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport completed the list of Africa’s top five business schools, along with Lagos Business School at the University of Lagos and South Africa’s Wits Business School in the University of the Witwatersrand.
