In a world where the selfie has taken over every vestige of our daily lives, Sprite comes up with a great campaign to put things back into perspective.

How many times have you looked at someone and thought: "Your face looks stupid”? In fact, how many times have you scrolled through your Instagram feed, quickly swiping by douchey selfie after douchey selfie, and thought "how the hell did you even pose like that?” Well, we'll answer for you: plenty of times. It seems that quirky poses are swiftly and surely gaining popularity, swiftly replacing photos of smiling and normal-looking people.

The obsession with "striking a pose" has literally swept the nation, which is why it was so refreshing to discover that one of the nation's leading experts on all things natural and refreshing, Sprite, have devised a new campaign, prompting everyone in the regions of Cairo to be less posed and more fresh. The #AnaMeshKeda campaign sees Sprite take posed photos of people and put them in everyday situations where they wouldn't be as successful as they are hiding behind numerous filters and heightened contrast.

Ever the ones to endorse anything that is fresh, natural and authentic, we here at Cairoscene decided to adopt this campaign and try our hands at it, where we collected some of the most famed selfie stances and place them where few Instagrammers seem to go: the real world.
