Arabian Horse Festival Trots Into Sharqia on September 30th

Celebrating the refined beauty of the fabled Arabian horse, the 25th edition of Sharqia’s Arabian Horse Festival will take place from Thursday, September 30th to Friday, October 1st.

The two-day festival will see Egyptian and foreign members of equestrian clubs, horse ranches owners, and general Arabian purebred enthusiasts gather for the mane event (sorry) on the equestrian lands of Belbeis.

It is not merely a dignified showcase of the region’s horses. Neigh (not sorry this time), it promotes desert adventures and tourism while championing the region’s finest horses by testing them in tournaments and bestowing winners with trophies and shields. And if they’re not the most athletically gifted, then there’s a beauty pageant for the prettiest ones.
