CNN this week released a story on Cairo's fluctuating nightlife scene and it's current resurgence, three years on from the revolution and ten months since the Muslim Brotherhood were ousted. It's no surprise that so many venues are popping up with Egypt's high society seemingly looking for a sort of constant escape from the trials and tribulations of masked first world problems and many an entrepreneur have looked towards partying for a profit. The story shines a spotlight on two of Cairo's most popular places at the moment The Garden in Korba, Heliopolis speaking to co-founder Ismail Kassem, and Alexander Rizk, founder of both Alchemy and the long standing Cairo Jazz Club.
