Cairo Runners Host All-Women Marathon at Alburouj

Women are always running. Running to work, to class, after their kids - but sometimes they don’t always have the time or the chance to run for the sake of their own health. Cairo Runners, Alburouj, and the Ministry of Youth and Sport have teamed up to host Women Race 2022 in its second edition to support women in doing just that.

The eight kilometre marathon will be held on Saturday, January 26th at Alburouj on Cairo Ismailia Road, gathering women of all ages and lifestyles in one place to break a sweat and get their heart pumping starting at 8 AM. 

The event also includes a two kilometre family race, so siblings, parents, and kids who want to support the women in their life can show up and run with them side by side.
