Dokki Discount Book Fair Flips Open on February 24th

In the shadow of the famous Cairo International Book Fair, a lesser-known - and much more affordable - book fair is set to open its door from February 24th to March 27th. The Dokki Discount Book Fair may not be as big as its counterpart but it offers an impressive collection of nearly one million books. This extensive catalogue  is made possible through cooperation with 73 of the most eminent publishing houses in Egypt. The book fair is selling these pieces at prices starting from EGP 5, and offers discounts of up to 50%. 

The books will be dispersed among nine distinct exhibitions offering a variety of genres, styles and languages. They will include the latest releases from publishing houses, children’s books, used books, and English titles.

The open air exhibition will be held in the garden of the Mic library Creativity Villa in Dokki, and will run for every day of its duration from 9 AM to 10 PM.
