EGP 25 Million to Build First Medical Centre for Alzheimer's in Egypt

Charitable investment fund Nasser Social Bank has donated EGP 25 million to Al-Baqyat Al-Salihat Association to establish the country’s first specialized Alzheimer’s medical centre, as well as the first care home for women with visual impairments to be operated with the support of NGO Al Nour Wal Amal Association.

The fund was established in January 2020 in support of people with disabilities in Egypt, funding programmes and initiatives organized by NGOs or governmental agencies. As Egypt makes strides in increasing accessibility and promoting inclusivity, this fund has been developing care and rehabilitation spaces for people with disabilities.
