The Ministry of Culture has announced that it will set up 3,000 book distribution booths in villages across Egypt as part of the ‘Haya Karima’ initiative, a national campaign that aims to improve the lives of Egypt’s most vulnerable rural communities on several different fronts.
The first phase will begin with 330 booths in a bid to increase cultural knowledge among Egyptians of all different backgrounds and reading proficiency levels.
