Egyptian Villages to Receive 3,000 Book Booths

As part of the 'Haya Karima' initiative, the first phase will begin with 330 booths in a bid to increase cultural knowledge among Egyptians of all different backgrounds and reading proficiency levels.

The Ministry of Culture has announced that it will set up 3,000 book distribution booths in villages across Egypt as part of the ‘Haya Karima’ initiative, a national campaign that aims to improve the lives of Egypt’s most vulnerable rural communities on several different fronts.


The first phase will begin with 330 booths in a bid to increase cultural knowledge among Egyptians of all different backgrounds and reading proficiency levels.
