‘Handmade in Egypt, for Egypt,’ is the brainchild of six different local brands who came together to help the daily Egyptian working force during these tumultuous times. In cooperation with the Egyptian Food Bank, any purchase of the products featured by the affiliated brands in the photo campaign will go towards buying one box of food for Egyptian families who need it the most.

The campaign is comprised of Lo & Lavender, Roo Egypt, Tappeti, Paper Jam, Pacific Oaks and Plant Cult Cairo. “The idea came to me from watching the news," Hanya Koueider, founder of Lo & Lavender told CairoScene. "I saw how the daily working force is getting affected and how many people are getting laid off. I  reached out to other brands to help us aid our fellow Egyptians, and they were all excited that we could do our part.”

United by a shared cause, each of the brands contributed a selection of their products to the campaign. Doing good has never looked sweeter.
