Red Bull's 'Mind the Gap' Showcases the Hottest Skaters in Cairo

For the second time in skateboarding history, Red Bull’s Mind the Gap will gather Egypt’s small but mighty skating scene for a high-flying, adrenaline-pumping contest in Cairo.

In essence, Mind the Gap is a flat gap competition that is free for participants, and open to both amateurs and pro skaters. It runs in a very simple jam format with three judges choosing the best tricks done over the gap by the best skater on the day of the competition.

Head judge and professional skater Jost Arens from Germany will land in Egypt, accompanied by acclaimed Egyptian skater Yehia "O" Osama, where they will determine podium decisions through a combination of difficulty style and trick selection. 

Registration will be done on the ground, but will cap after the first 30 participants, so don’t be late. #RedBullMindtheGap will be held on February 4th at Nile Court at 12:30 PM.
