These days, Instagram is awash with samey accounts, all vying for your attention with any number of stunts and gimmicks - especially in the world of food. There's nothing quite as satisfying as watching a dish being made from scratch in a bite-sized video, but one account that has appeared on our radar: Sufret Almarai.

What moments do we cherish more than when sitting around a dining table covered by a rich spread of home-cooked food with our family and friends? None. Well, at least that's what we think, and we aren't the only ones. The leading dairy brand Almarai have introduced a cooking platform, Sufret Almarai, and they are educating us on how to recreate this very experience. Skeptical? Check out their Instagram account. Brimming with a variety of recipes composed of their dairy products, one thing is clear - Sufret Almarai's account won't deprive you of inspiration. Quite the contrary, the endless options you will be confronted by, ranging from Creamy Soups and Kofta to Mehalabeya, carefully selected by celebrity chef and Sufret Almarai brand ambassador Chef May Yacoubi, will leave you spoiled for choice.

Sufret Almarai's appeal is not limited to offering online culinary inspiration in times of desperation, or to satisfying our lust for glamorised images of food. Recently, during Ramadan, Sufret Almarai gathered select foodies and chefs for Iftar around a seemingly limitless dining table to a surprise location, which turned out to be the beautiful Dahab Island Palace, situated on Dahab Island. Moments after gathering at a specific meeting point, the evening's guests hopped on a Faluka and were swept across the Nile to the enchanted Dahab Palace where, as a family, they spent the evening bonding over the most important thing in life - food.

But beyond showing you what to do and how to do it, Sufret Almarai is asking users to take their newly acquired culinary knowledge, gather their loved ones by the dining table and share it with a picture or video on Instagram, while tagging the account, for the chance to get featured. Are you still here? Why? Head to Sufret Almarai on Instagram...
