Coming to New Giza on November 20th, The Color Run is giving Egyptians another opportunity the run through all the colours of the wind and make an utter joyful mess of themselves.
Vibrant and kaleidoscopic, The Color Run is back for another round of #TheHappiest5K at New Giza on November 20th.
A sort of mix between India’s Holi Festival (if you’ve ever seen a Bollywood film where people run through clouds of multicoloured powder then you know what this is) and a straight-up marathon, The Color Run invites participants to put on their whitest and most disposable shirts and run for five untimed kilometres, while getting doused from head to toe in a different colour at each kilometer mark. You’re pretty much running through a Crayola tornado. Maybe that’s what Pocahontas kept singing about?
Once the run is over, participants will move on to the ‘Finish Festival’, where they’ll put on a party with a hefty music lineup, photo ops, activity booth, food vendors, and even more colour throws. You know, just in case you didn’t have enough (you won’t). The run begins at 8:30 AM on November 20th. Tickets are available for EGP450 per person via collardtickets.com
