The Lemon Tree & Co. Shakes Up Sahel

This summer, The Lemon Tree & Co. surpassed all expectations in Sahel, revolutionising the party scene entirely with an array of inventive themed nights that captivated the coast all summer long…

The Lemon Tree & Co. killed it on the coast this summer, with not one but two gorgeous venues by the shore. While their Telal beach bar brought the spot’s signature chill vibes to the beach, their rooftop Marassi venue reinvented partying as we know it in Sahel.

Shying away from typical nocturnal times, The Lemon Tree rocked the shoreline with their extravagance, elegance, and straight up good times. Everyone's favourite bohemian haven in the city cranked up the volume – and the antics – when they picked up and took their operation to Marassi, and we gotta give them props for really making it one hell of an entertaining season.

A mix of class and sass, their Marassi spot was the go-to place this summer, expertly blending an incredible dining experience, musical wizardry, the boozy brilliance of a bar, and the numerous cherries on top with various outlandish nightly shows. With a huge stage splat bang in the middle of the place, they played host to an array of entertainment, running the gamut from a Michael Jackson dance troupe that electrified the place to a vampire themed night that would make True Blood creators blush, to a wild fire show that had everyone on edge in the best way possible.

One night even saw them collaborate with Kriss Beauty Salons to captivate the crowd with their Beauty And The Beach night, where a lavish show of models with pimped out hair (we’re talking forks in their locks) outdid every understanding you had of how hair could be transformed.

To accompany all this, The Lemon Tree brought their signature excellent dining experience to the table, with a menu that boasted creative cuisine and inventive dishes. And there’s nothing better than dinner with a wicked show – accompanied by a drink (or seven) of course.

And naturally, they curated incomparable musical talent. Locally, they had everyone who’s anyone hit their decks. From Amr Hosny - aka Godfather of House - in our fair land, to the inimitable Tito, to Fulltone’s Amr Khaled and his brilliant beats, there was no shortage of musical magic. They also brought in international deck dazzlers from Alex Kentucky to Oriocalvo and his Tech House turntable antics.

All we can say is, we can’t wait to see what they do next!
