World's Most Expensive Burger Sold in Dubai
You'll never look at your lunch the same way again.
The world's most expensive hamborgor has just been created, sold, eaten and shat out in the United Arab Emirates. With a new world record being made almost daily in Dubai, this has to have been the tastiest, on par with the Burj Khalifa which tastes like chicken.
The sale took place at Pink Bite auction at Galeries Lafayette, organised by Pink Caravan a non-profit organisation dedicated to spreading awareness of breast cancer, raising a whopping 25,000 AED ($7,000). The burger was prepared live by Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Thani Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development in Sharjah and also ambassador of the Pink Caravan campaign. This is the most expensive burger in the world, outdoing the previous record of $5,000 in Las Vegas
The burger was comprised of rare ingredients – including the finest Japanese wagyu beef and a 25-year-old balsamic roasted heirloom tomato, topping it off with what the Sheikh touted as “the ultimate burger sauce” along with beetroot and black sesame brioche and was purchased by a team from the Sharjah Expo Centre.
