The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities will soon sell annual passes for all museums in Egypt. In an attempt to make cultural venues more accessible, the pass will be an affordable alternative to singular passes for tourists and history-lovers.
The pass will be available for just EGP 400, and will feature the buyer’s picture and name as identification. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities hopes to encourage Egyptians to explore their museums and turn them into a part of their regular outings. Tea at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir anyone?
