YouTube Kids has launched across Egypt and the Middle East, serving as essentially a giant child lock on the platform's video content while curating educational and fun content.
YouTube has launched their new YouTube Kids app in Arabic, making it available in 15 countries around the MENA region for children under 13 to enjoy. The app is basically like putting a child lock on the video content they consume, while still giving them the space to explore and express their curiosity.
Channels and playlists are categorically organized under tabs like Learning & Hobbies, Arts & Crafts, YouTubers & Family Vloggers, Music & Dance, and Toys & Play, amongst others. Some of the region’s most loved family content will also be available on the app, including the Arabic versions of Sesame Street, ‘Ahlan Simsim’.
The app is already available in 86 countries around the world, and is the number one kids app in the US, UK, France, Italy, and Spain. You will be able to download it on iOS and Android.
