Amman Club Night Vudu Launch Label With Debut VA Album
The dance music label serves as a launchpad for rising Jordanian artists, positioning Vudu as a global music platform amplifying the region’s diverse sounds.
Vudu, one of Amman’s hottest clubs founded by Fairplay and Roo, has recently launched a dance music record label with a debut compilation VA album. Titled ‘Vudu Amman’, the label aims to serve as a launching pad for rising Jordanian artists, positioning Vudu as more than just a famed local nightclub, but rather an influential global music platform, amplifying the breadth of the region’s diverse sounds.
A super slick and juicy mix of the pulsating beats of Afro-house, the soul-stirring melodies of deep house and the avant-garde rhythms of Indie Dance, the VA album is made up of ten tracks by various global and regional artists, encapsulating the energy and spirit of Vudu’s parties and the vibrant electronic scene across the globe.
Some of the artists featured on the album are Fairplay and Roo, founders of Vudu club, Berlin-based DJs Phonique and Marco Resmann, Turkish producer Alican, and Jordan-born Vidi.
The album also features a single ‘Who We Are’, a sharp and seductive house track by renowned Barcelona-based group Pole Position, composed of Le Joliff, founder of Brunch Elekronic Loic, and Formula 1 driver-turned-producer Squire.
