The single blends airplane sound effects (no, it's true) with a thumping bass and breakbeat percussions, and gives us a first listen to Raxon's upcoming album, 'Sound of Mind'.
Ahead of the release of his debut album Sound of Mind, scheduled to drop on June 25th, the Egyptian Barcelona-based DJ and techno producer, Raxon, has teased fans by dropping his new single ‘Vice’.
Eager to fill rave floors, the track kicks off with heavy breakbeat percussions and a thumping bass that lets in various aeroplane sound effects—certain to have you restless to move—and shots of seatbelt alarm-like beeps. Commencing with a growling rhythm before wobbling as it goes on, the bass is the track’s main emphasis and attraction. With the single, Raxon shows a teasing glimpse of his upcoming album. The DJ and producer has been making moves in Barcelona and Europe, frequently rocking the Catalan capital’s top techno club Input, featuring in the region’s Brunch in the City Festival, and even crossing the pond to perform in Pennsylvania’s Elements Festival. He is also set to perform in Adam Beyer’s upcoming DrumCode Festival in Malta in September.
Besides playing alongside some of the most renowned names in the electronic scene, Raxon has previously released numerous tracks and EPs on Germany’s Cocoon Recordings as well as DrumCode Records. His new, debut album will be released with Kompakt Records and will give us 11 new tracks to get moving to.
