Good Vibes Only are set to welcome two names with plenty of clout in Beirut, Ralph Nasr and Ronin.
Good Vibes Only - the name says it all. Egyptian party series, GVO, has already gained a reputation for its welcoming, friendly environment and all-round casual nature - ‘a party for friends, by friends’ as the DIY-designed parties have been referred to.
For its third edition on November 5th above the Blue Nile Boat in Cairo’s Maadi, GVO will be welcoming Lebanese collective, retrogroove, for a showcase featuring DJs Ralph Nasr and Ronin - two men who know how to perform.
With a selective ear for rare house bangers and disco gems, Ralph Nasr (pictured in main image) boasts a decade of experience on the Beirut music scene, playing in the biggest venues including the likes of The Garten and Ballroom Blitz, as well with the biggest names, such as Peggy Gou, Ame Live, and Detroit Swindle among many others. Ralph is running retrogroove and organising monthly parties for the music and arts collective.
Ronin, meanwhile, is a DJ, promoter, club booker, and brand strategist that is a well known name within the Lebanese scene with his work across all levels of the music scene, and his residency at The Ballroom Blitz . Importantly for GVO, he has been a staple back home as part of dynamic duo, Ronin & Nesta, a duo that knows its way around house music.
Ralph and Ronin will be joined by Egyptian up-and-comer, Ali Slamfunk, who is set to kick off and end the day with a funk and disco set.
The event will take place from 3PM-11PM. For reservations, contact 01222461555 (whatsapp only) or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or simply DM their instagram account @gvo_goodvibesonly1.
