DJ Boring, Hunee & More to Headline Boogie Box Festival in Abu Dhabi
This is the final Boogie Box event to be hosted in Abu Dhabi, following a wild ride of pop-up parties and festivals dating back to 2009.
Boogie Box, UAE’s longest-running house and techno party series, is hosting a 16-hour festival in celebration of its 15th birthday on the sun-kissed shores of Abu Dhabi’s Hudariyat Beach on November 2nd.
Boogie Box is bringing a thrilling star-studded lineup of prominent regional and international acts from across the globe to perform across two open-air stages. London-based Aussie disc jockey DJ Boring, known for his fusion of lo-fi house, Belgium techno and throwback trance, will be headlining alongside German-Korean producer Hunee, whose unpredictable sets encompass disco, African rarities, vintage Italo and skewed house and techno.
They will be joined by Italian producer and DJ Adiel, who has been shaping the techno underground scene with her mind-bending bass-boosted trips and acid-licked vinyl sets, along with Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Young Marco (synonymous with Dektmantel and Rush Hour) and British-Egyptian DJ Maks, considered of the first originators of minimal and microhouse in the region.
The festival will also feature a slew of seasoned regional DJs and producers spinning a little bit of everything from groovy house to funky disco and deep club cuts, including Nesta, Omar Fayyad, Parvane, and Tarek Barada, as well as Boogie Box residents Hani J, Hassan Alwan, Ricardo De Menesis, and Shadi Megallaa.
Besides the non-stop electronic music, the festival will feature a food court with a wide selection of beverages and food from homegrown vendors, along with a diverse marketplace.
Tickets are available for purchase on Platinumlist's official website.
