Egypt's Gemo and Mimo Team Up With London-Based Layal on New Single

Egyptian rapper Gemo and his producer Mimo are a peculiar musical duo who prefer to keep a closed circle, having nearly all their releases between just the two of them. That is, other than a couple of cases where they invited London-based singer-songwriter Layal, who always offered her sultry vocals and psychedelic sonic direction in every release. Marking their second collaboration together following ‘Zigzag 2’, Gemo, Mimo, and Layal have come together to present an airy recital with their latest release ‘L B3eed’.

L B3eed’ embodies the feelings of distance from loved ones, as well as physical distance from your home. Gemo and Layal explore the emotions that come from the burden such distance carries, and the disruptions to our everyday lives that often leave us with heavy hearts. Mimo purveys these feelings sonically, providing a spacey instrumental over a slow-paced BPM, while incorporating eerie and mysterious elements to add that emotional aspect to the instrumental.
