Egyptian Indie Band StormAlong Paint Retro Colours in ‘Seasons’

It marks a slight change from the band’s alternative character and sound.

Egyptian band StormAlong have released a retro sound in their new single ‘Seasons’, marking a slight shift from the band’s indie and alternative character.

StormAlong boasts Coptopus as the lead vocalist and ukulelist, Eddie as a songwriter and keyboardist, Rita Aziz on the drums, Dody Tarek as bassist and mixing/mastering, and Hassany as lead guitarist and composer, a collection of five Egyptian artists demonstrating an aligned musical vision through their euphonious projects.

Comparing the changes we go through to the transitions of the seasons and the subsequent transformations in our character, in their new song, the band vows to still “keep it together” in the face of it all, with 70’s synth pop-inspired drums accompanied by the retro synth melody line matching Coptopus’ deep vocals.
