Memphis Records’ Tidal Dream Vol.2 is Coming this Friday, May 19th
The record label is coming through with yet another stellar line-up for the festival second edition.
Cairo-based Memphis Records is coming back with a second edition of their famous live music festival ‘Tidal Dream’ this Friday, May 19th.
Earlier this year, on March 10th, the record label launched their first-ever iteration of the festival in an unforgettable night with a star studded lineup featuring, the local indie rock rouser Dirty Backseat along with the iconic Marmalade Jam, Butternotes, Alan-K, Pink Seasalt and Woodpeckers.
This weekend, Memphis Records is yet again drawing our eyes to some of Egypt’s exceptional music talents and taking us on a wild night to remember filled with eclectic sounds and enticing vibes. This Tidal Dream second edition’s line-up is starring the enigmatic Juno who is set to lace up the air with her mystifying tunes and ethereal energy. Other artists such as Shady Ahmed, Nomarch, Zeyad Essam and Luka Wel Batteekh will also be showcasing their immensely remarkable talents with a collage of eclectic tunes, promising to get you dancing off your blues away.
There will be a number of vendors at the festival’s venue. So, you can grab a quick cheeseburger from Munch & Shake or dig into some chips with a guacamole dipping from Holy Guacemole. However, the vintage diggers will not be forgotten as there will also be multiple retro stores filled with all things hippie and cool from rare vintage garments to records, CDs and cassettes alike the records boutique retrograde and retro cairo. Egyptian musical fashion brand, HY by Haya, along with other local brands like Earpeace, Shaffra, cult apparel and Al Mangam will be selling their products as well at the event.
