Oasis’ Into The Wild Festival set to return October 27th
‘Into The Wild’ takes one step closer to Hollywood, as this year the venue is the iconic Atlas Studio.
‘Into The Wild’ the recent iteration of Oasis festival is set to return on October 27th. For three action packed days, the festival will take place at the iconic Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, Morocco, known for hosting the epic sets of renowned productions like ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Gladiator’. The studios are now welcoming something a little less silver-screen and a little more sonic, and with the festival taking centre stage it’s shaping up to be one to remember.
The North African tastemakers promise so much more than just music on this year’s ‘Oasis’. ‘Into The Wild’ will be a showcase of delicious Moroccan cuisine along with more of the region’s rich art and warm culture. This will be the second held edition of ‘Oasis’ since it changed its name and theme to ‘Into The Wild’. The last time around, The Telegraph listed the festival among the best anywhere in the world, giving it the sizable praise that it even “gives Glastonbury a run for its money”.
The festival's lineup is a sonic feast with the likes of Honey Dijon, regional favourite Nooriyah, Australian memelord partyboi69, the pounding techno of Ahadadream, NTS regular Mafalda, garage pioneer Todd Edwards, Paula Tape, Oyoo Gyal and Eesah amongst a sea of others, ensuring that this year's festival will be another unforgettable event.
Running strong for 8 years since its 2015 launch, ‘Oasis’ features international, local, and regional artists, bringing a lot of eyes onto Morocco’s ever-expanding music scene. It has also made great press, the festival has made the front-page of the LA Times, Times Travel, Billboard, Highsnobsociety, amongst others. Ministry Of Sound has described ‘Oasis’ “as one of the most thought-provoking festivals imaginable”.
