SceneNoise Joins Refuge Worldwide x COSMOS Radio at Le Guess Who?
Tune in this November for our takeover of Refuge Worldwide & COSMOS radio, with the freshest MENA tunes, interviews and more.
At this year’s Le Guess Who? Festival in Utrecht, the Netherlands, SceneNoise is set to take over Refuge Worldwide and COSMOS’ live radio program, bringing a selection of MENA music to the airwaves.
From November 8th to the 10th, 20:00 to 21:00 CEST, we will be joining one of the world’s most eclectic gatherings of music curators, sharing fresh tracks, on-air interviews and more from the state-of-the-art Pandora Foyer Studio at TivoliVredenburg.
Each night, we’ll feature exclusive interviews with groundbreaking MENA artists, starting on November 8th with Syrian producer/DJ Noise Diva, who will dive into her signature sound and creative journey, and Lebanese multidisciplinary artist Yara Asmar, whose abstract soundscapes and emotive music will be featured in a live performance during the festival. The lineup continues on the 9th with an interview with Egyptian experimental musician Nadah El Shazly, followed by a live DJ set from Cairo’s own 3Phaz, known for merging traditional Egyptian sounds with powerful electronic beats. On November 10th, Sarah El Miniawi, artist manager and founder of Simsara Music will be joining us to discuss her work in developing MENA talent and navigating the industry’s inner workings.
SceneNoise will also play curated playlists on November 8th and November 10th, handpicked to narrate the progression and development of the region’s music scene in recent years.
Tune in live via Refuge Worldwide and leguesswho.com/cosmos, or join us in person at TivoliVredenburg’s Pandora Foyer Studio to experience the sounds, stories, and rhythms connecting Cairo to Utrecht and beyond.
