‘Sounds of Places’ Brings Palestinian Artists to Rome on March 22-23
A two-day showcase of Palestine’s evolving sonic landscape, featuring hip-hop, electronic, and experimental music.

On March 22-23, Sounds of Places lands at Brancaleone in Rome, presenting a lineup of Palestinian artists shaping contemporary sound. A collaboration between Radio Alhara and Bethlehem’s Wonder Cabinet, the event explores sonic identities through hip-hop, electronic, and experimental music.
The lineup includes Abul3ees, Adan Azzam, Julmud, Oussama Abu Ali, Owais, and Mai Mai Mai, with more names to be announced. Through their distinct approaches, each artist weaves together rhythms, textures, and influences that challenge and redefine the region’s musical landscape.
Based in Bethlehem, Wonder Cabinet is a nonprofit space for art production and cultural development. It invites artists and audiences to engage with their surroundings through sound, food, objects, discussions and interdisciplinary encounters. Over time, it has evolved into a platform for experimental projects and productions, fostering dialogue and creative exchange.
In partnership with Radio Alhara, Sounds of Places continues this mission—amplifying Palestinian voices and showcasing the region’s dynamic, ever-evolving soundscape.
