Toumba, Van Boom, Abadir to Play Berlin’s Legendary CTM Festival
For its 24th edition, the “Festival for Adventurous Music & Art” has booked some of the leading electronic and experimental producers from the region.
Berlin’s CTM Festival has been pushing the boundaries of art and music sincere its inception in 1999. Over the years, it has given performance space to iconic artists from Four Tet to GAIKA, Holly Herndon, and more.
For its upcoming edition, the legendary event will feature Kuwaiti music producer Van Boom, Berlin-based Egyptian producer, DJ and sound designer ABADIR, and Jordanian DJ and producer Toumba.
Between January 29th and February 5th, CTM Festival’s 24th edition will bring an array of electronic and left-field genres to the forefront, with the three Arab producers taking centre stage, along with Uganda’s Authentically Plastic, London-based Tash LC and others echoing through various venues all over Berlin.
The 24th edition’s theme is ‘Portals’, intending to highlight soundscapes and music as a lens through which our realities, histories, and communities are shaped. For more information and yet-to-be-announced artists, head to the festival's website here.
