Acacia and Sinaptik Crew to Turn Dahab into a Stereophonic Bubble on the 27th

A massive three day celebration featuring a slew of local and international electronic music talents.

Staff Writer

The historic port town of Dahab was the backdrop to some of the best parties in the country since the early nineties. From the days of the now deceased Rush, Mojito, and Tree Bar, to the arrival of Acacia; the latter cementing itself as the go to source for underground music in South Sinai - there has never been a shortage of quality parties in the sea-side town.

Come the 27th of this month, all you South Sinai freaks are in for a treat, as news emerges of a massive three day party by Acacia Dahab in collaboration with Sinaptik Crew taking place at none other than the Acacia Dahab Hotel.

Acacia’s beach bar has been transformed into a 'Stereophonic Bubble' using conceptual decorations courtesy of Psy-nai Deco, and a banging sound system with output quality that would rival any night club in the country. The owner of Acacia, Hussam Elzeiny is also co-founder of Egypt's Sun Network and Dahab's Sinpatik Crew, who have been responsible for a large number of parties within the Sinai area and beyond. The annual Desert Dance festival that has become a regional mecca for psychedelic music fans is currently at its sixth year, taking place next October. It is a testament to the crew's remarkable skills.

Aside from the annual festival, a regular string of boat parties with some of the best local and international DJs have been taking place - as well as other events happening on a regular basis to celebrate damn near every astrologically significant date, equinox, star citing, planet passing, and right about any excuse to fire up the sound system and call in the cavalry.

The party in question is split over three days, each with a different musical theme. Artists playing sounds ranging from experimental/left-field house & techno, deep and tech house, techno, minimal, and finally on the third day - Dahab's favourite genre - psy trance.

The lineup includes Pacha resident Ouzo, Nile FM mix master Carlos, visiting French artist Nino, Acacia head honcho and Sun Network artist UncleSam, psy trance mastermind Hecate, among other underground talents.
