Shake Your Jazz Noodle At CJC With Mostafa Rizk

Jazz Sunday is prepped to deliver Bluesy vibes with Mostafa Rizk's Cairo Jazz Club debut, and jazzy pan-Asian fusion dishes with a Zentro kitchen takeover.

Staff Writer

Here’s proof that they don’t call it Cairo Jazz Club for nothing! Esteemed singer/songwriter Mostafa Rizk will be debuting his eclectic blend of Orient-infused Jazz and Blues this Jazz Sunday at CJC. Coming from Upper Egypt, Rizk originally moved to Cairo to study architecture, but that was super boring. Rizk began to compose and sing, eventually starting a band called Wansa, through which he began experimenting with different styles.
Now he’s perfected his particular form of jazzy Egyptian Blues and branded it with his own name. Join him and the other finger-snapping, beret-wearing cool cats of Cairo for evening of Upper Egyptian mojo.

You better show up hungry, too, because the pan-Asian fusion chefs of Zentro will be hijacking the CJC kitchen, combining Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Japanese cuisine until the mouth-watering fusion causes that one ignorant friend everyone has – the one who doesn’t think there’s a difference - to literally explode in delight and shame.

So get to CJC this Sunday and shake your Jazz noodle with Mostafa Rizk and Zentro!
