The Beatangers: West Coast Rap Meets Deep House at CJC

When we saw Beatangers on Cairo Jazz Club's schedule for this month we flipped our shit just a bit - no DJ/producer is as forthright and cut-throat with their use of funky Deep bass lines and vocal cuts as these French House maestros. Usually sampling hard hitting West Coast rap and plating them bang on top of some close-your-eyes-and-fist-pump-away beats, their last two releases Bad Girl and Let Me See were signed by record label Bunny Tiger of the one and only Deep House hero Sharam Jay. The Beatbangers spin at Cairo Jazz Club for another Destination CJC along with Shady Ezz on Monday 20th October, and if you're lucky, might just drop their Fresh Prince of Bel Air remix.
