The new Regulations for the Resumption of Tourism to Egypt, which will be applied to all touristic facilities across the nation and will include a COVID-19 vaccination dririve for touristic employees.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities unveiled Egypt’s action plan for safe tourism and infrastructure development at the Arabian Travel Market 2021.
“Since the coronavirus outbreak, we have implemented stringent regulations to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff,” Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Khaled El-Enany said. “In recognition of our efforts, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has granted Egypt its Safe Travels stamp.”
During the event, the Ministry shared the details of their Regulations for the Resumption of Tourism to Egypt, which will be applied to all touristic facilities across the nation and will include a COVID-19 vaccination drive for all employees in the tourism sector. The Ministry also plans to launch a three-year international promotional campaign to attract visitors from target markets to Egypt in October, 2021.
The 28th edition of the ATM is currently running from May 16th to May 19th at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), and features exhibitors from 62 countries.
