Set to open in 2026, the Sofitel Cairo New Capital Hotel and Residences will include commercial, residential, and medical services, as well as fully furnished branded hotel residences.
It’s only been a few months since Accor, the French hospitality company, announced that they’re bringing Movenpick to Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, with plans to set it up in the Sixty Iconic Tower by 2026. Now they’re extending their reach of luxurious offerings even further with a new Sofitel location. Also scheduled for launch in 2026, the Sofitel Cairo New Capital Hotel and Residences promises to bring the brand’s signature Art de Vivre ethos with it, allowing visitors to experience the French way of life.
These days, no hotel is ‘just a hotel’ and the new Sofitel has been described as an ‘idiosyncratic community’, one that pulls together residential, commercial and even medical services - think of it as a little self-sufficient town of its own.
The Sofitel Cairo New Capital Hotel and Residences will feature two towers, one of which will contain the eponymous hotel (with 200 keys) and residences (with 280 new places to live), while the other one will be designated for offices and commercial spaces. Between the two towers, it’ll just be a short walk for guests and residents to dine out at one of the five eateries scattered across the entire property, or to while away the time at its large recreational areas.
