The inaugural flights are set to launch on March 31st.
Etihad Airways, the UAE-based airline, is set to commence nonstop flights between the nation’s capital Abu Dhabi and the US’s Boston.
The airline, which currently operates in Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C., will begin servicing Logan Airport on March 31st, making Boston the carrier’s fourth U.S. destination.
“We are delighted to introduce flights to Boston, which opens up Abu Dhabi to visitors from the American Northeast and across the United States,” Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, shares with SceneTraveller. “We eagerly await welcoming guests to our extraordinary home as well as offering them access to our growing global network.”
The new Boston route will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Travelers will fly on the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, featuring both business and economy seats.
