UAE Named Best Winter Destination in the Middle East for 2024

The 2024 Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI) by the World Economic Forum has named the UAE the best winter destination in the Middle East and 18th globally, marking a seven-place increase from the previous edition.

With a target of AED 100 billion in tourism investments and 40 million hotel guests, the UAE's tourism sector has been booming, with winter being the peak season for international arrivals.

In 2023, an estimated 29.2 million international tourists visited the UAE, and projections suggest that by 2033, this number could reach 45.5 million.
