Art D'Egypte Tells ‘A Tale of Two Cities’ in Athens & Alexandria
This cross-continental art exhibition will explore the intertwined history of these two sister cities.
Art D’Egypte is known for its ambitious installations in historic places. The group has shown that they are capable of dreaming pretty big – but once you’ve held multiple art shows at the Great Pyramids of Giza, where do you go next?
The answer to that question lies across the Mediterranean as Art D’Egypte announces their next big project: ‘A Tale of Two Cities’, an art exhibition that will showcase the shared history of Athens and Alexandria. Art D’Egypte puts contemporary artists in conversation with ancient histories and public space, creating a link between today’s art world and its roots. This cross-continental exhibit will be shown in Greece in June and Alexandria in October.
‘A Tale of Two Cities’ will be a part of the next edition of Art D’Egypte’s ‘Forever is Now’ project.
