100 German Public Schools Will Be Established Across Egypt
The goal of this new project is to spread the German language across Egypt, and offer opportunities for students to travel to Germany.
The Ministry of Education announced plans to establish 100 Egyptian-German schools, following the model of the successful Egyptian-Japanese schools.
The project aims to train German language teachers nationwide and develop German language curricula. The partnership between the Ministry and the Goethe-Institut aims to consolidate cooperation in the study and teaching of the German language, as well as the qualification and professional development of German language teachers.
Additionally, the Ministry and the Goethe-Institut will hold training courses on digital learning and organise a competition for students to pass the German language, offering winners the opportunity to travel to Germany.
