Applying to Post-Graduate Courses? Here's How You Can Get a Scholarship to Cambridge University
Find your way to one of the world’s most prestigious universities with BP Egypt.
If education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world, as Nelson Mandela put it, and it’s also one of the most expensive ‘commodities’, then where does that leave us.
Don’t mistake this for some kind of socialist rant, but, seriously, what are we to do? It’s a particular problem when it comes to higher studies; every rung of the step you climb up, things get considerably more expensive. For the average Egyptian, it’s near impossible to get top-notch higher education – but one initiative has been going some way to helping graduates make the tricky navigation into postgraduate studies – and at the prestigious University of Cambridge, no less.
Available to those who are fluent in English, said initiative, spearheaded by BP Egypt, affords Egyptian graduates fully-paid scholarships to what is the second oldest English-language university in the world.
Undertaken in collaboration with the Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust, the initiative even opens the door to post-graduate studies in the UK. Last August, BP celebrated its 100-mark of post-graduate students who obtained full scholarships in the UK through BP and Cambridge University. Ever since 2001, they've been building a strong educational foundation in Egypt to help students become motivated to study, work, and contribute to developing their country.
Applications for the 2019-2020 year are open, and will close on December 2nd.
