Egyptian Wrestler Pulls 279-Ton Train With His Teeth Setting 3 Records
Mahrous previously set records for eating 11 raw eggs in 30 seconds in 2024 and pulling a 15,730-kg truck with his teeth in 2021.

Egyptian wrestler Ashraf Mahrous, known as Kabonga, has achieved three new Guinness World Records, including pulling a 279-ton train using only his teeth. On March 13, 2025, at Cairo's Ramses train station, Mahrous used a rope held in his teeth to pull the train nearly 10 meters (33 feet) in front of a cheering crowd. He then repeated the feat using a strap around his shoulders.
In addition to the heaviest rail pull using his teeth, Mahrous received recognition for the heaviest locomotive pull and the fastest 100-meter road vehicle pull. He reportedly pulled a two-ton locomotive in under 40 seconds. Organizers of the event stated that Mahrous trained for 20 days before attempting the record-breaking feats.
Previously, Mahrous set records for cracking and eating 11 raw eggs in 30 seconds in February 2024 and for pulling a 15,730-kilogram truck with his teeth in June 2021.
Mahrous discovered his strength in primary school after accidentally breaking a classmate's leg twice. He now aims to compete for the title of the world's strongest man by attempting to pull an airplane.
